Nearly 200 guests attended the ninth annual Celebration for Life May 15 at Smith & Wollensky at Easton. The event benefits the James Fund for Life, an annual campaign to advance research and technology at OSU’s Comprehensive Cancer Center—Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. Together, the annual fund and Celebration for Life 2010 raised more than $1 million, which will purchase new technology for the center as part of ProjectONE, the largest expansion in the university’s history, which includes a new cancer hospital and cancer ambulatory center.
