Around 250 guests attended the Friends of the Drexel Gala Sept. 18 at the Drexel Theatre in Bexley. The event honored longtime supporter Bob Lazarus with the first Drexel Hero Award. Guests enjoyed a champagne reception at Hammond Harkins Galleries, a gala on the lot of City Hall—transformed into a Hollywood-style nightclub for the occasion—food from Bexley restaurants and a showing of Cinema Paradiso.
