New Downtown tea salon using its noodles

Finally, after a year of construction, the third ZenCha Tea Salon location will open in June at 19 E. Gay St. Owner I-Cheng Huang admits the building process was lengthy but says it was for good reason: This will be the first location with an eat-in and carry-out noodle, sushi and dumpling bar, catering to the Downtown worker.

“It took us a long time to finalize the concept,” Huang says. “We wanted to focus on balance and deliver the traditional ZenCha experience.”
