How to toss a caber in the Scottish Highland Games

The Arnold Sports Festival is no stranger to gigantic athletes wearing unusual outfits. This year’s new attire: kilts, which come to Columbus Commons on March 3 during the inaugural Scottish Highland Games. Eight invited athletes will perform five traditional feats of strength including the hammer throw, stone throw and caber toss (picking up and flipping what looks like a telephone pole). Competitor Daniel McKim, who won the 2011 Highland Games World Championships, shares four steps to a perfect toss.
