Columbus Wine Festival

The third annual Columbus Wine Festival Aug. 26 and 27 at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens (co-sponsored by Columbus Monthly) offered a variety of tastings, cooking demonstrations by local chefs and live music by the Lloyd Dobler Effect from Washington, D.C., and teh Michael Heaton Band from Chicago. More than 4,800 guests tasted from a selection of some 275 domestic and international wines and enjoyed food from local restaurants. Proceeds benefit the conservatory.
