FASHION CREDENTIALS
Ermine, 61, started as a personal shopper at Henri Bendel. She also spent time at Jacobson’s and Victoria’s Secret before joining Saks when the Polaris location opened in 2001.
THE FALL RUNWAY COLLECTION I LOVE
Stella McCartney. It’s very modern, very fresh and appeals to a wide range. It’s very wearable, and is a great forward look for the season.
THREE PIECES YOU NEED TO BE ON TREND THIS FALL
1. A great jacket, like a tuxedo
jacket. It’s flattering for every size and age and can go from work to a night out.
2. A great suit, whether it’s a
pants suit or skirt suit. You can separate the pieces, mix and match, and accessorize it every season.
3. A white shirt to wear with a jacket or with a pair of jeans. Just a clean, crisp white shirt.
TRANSITION TIP
Fall is the season of the dress. What you can do is transition with a coordinating jacket. Even if it is sleeveless, you can transition it into early fall. A wonderful shrug or shrunken cardigan looks great and adds warmth.
RIGHT NOW, I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT MY…
Prada heels. They go with absolutely everything. I also can’t live without my Donna Karan tuxedo jacket.
