The Lindsay Gallery got a shout-out last week in a New York Times article on the 20th anniversary of the Outsider Art Fair.

Check out the gallery’s current exhibit, featuring works by Morris Jackson and Amber Groome, at tomorrow’s Gallery Hop, or during the opening reception tonight from 6-9 pm.

The Lindsay Gallery’s description of the show: “Morris Jackson and Amber Groome are two of Columbus, Ohio's favorite contemporary self-taught artists. Amber makes meticulously crafted dolls in polymer clay that tell stories of a woman's struggle with mental illness. Morris Jackson's pen and ink drawings are packed with so much detail that he has to use a technical drawing pen called a Rapidograph to get the tiny lines he wants. His drawings tell stories of loving, longing and just trying to understand a world that seems incomprehensible to his characters.”
