The 20th annual Flavors of the Vine Wine Tasting & Auction fundraiser for Recreation Unlimited Foundation was held Feb. 10 at the Hilton Columbus Polaris. More than 450 guests enjoyed heavy hors d’oeuvres created by hotel chefs, along with samples from a dozen wine distributors. Morning radio host Andy Clark of 93.3 FM emceed the evening, which also included live and silent auctions. Guests bid on trips to Kiawah Island and Napa Valley, a clambake for 30 via Cameron Mitchell Catering and more. Tickets were $100, reserved tables for eight were $2,500. The event raised more than $181,000 to support Recreation Unlimited’s camper scholarship funds and camps for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities and health concerns.
