Bridal fashion icon Vera Wang recently unveiled a new collection of breathtaking and budget-friendly dresses that are being sold exclusively at David’s Bridal. Columbus brides-to-be can try on Wang’s inaugural White collection, made up of 12 feminine styles priced between $600 to $1,400, at the David’s Bridal on Sawmill Road. The store is one of 150 nationwide carrying the line, which also includes accessories and will later expand to include bridesmaid dresses and shoes. (Wang’s high-end couture dresses will still be sold in designer boutiques, such as Big Rock Little Rooster in the Short North.)

The White looks that Wang designed for Spring 2011 are soft and airy with delicate details, such as oversized bows, jeweled belts and lace embellishments. With a palette of white, ivory, blush and champagne, Wang designed several of the dresses to look balletic. Her love for the arts--and the works of Edgar Degas--inspired the collection’s stunning ballgowns. To view a slideshow of Wang’s latest creations, click here
