Drink in summer at the second annual Columbus Wine Festival.

The weekend event features two nights of wine tasting, food demonstrations and entertainment amid the lush gardens of Franklin Park Conservatory (1777 E. Broad St.)

This year's festival will feature samplings of over 200 domestic and international wines as well as food-pairing ideas for Belgian beers Stella Artois, Hoegaarden and Leffe.

Several restaurants, including the Melting Pot and Trattoria Roma, also will make an appearance.

The event kicks off Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and continues Saturday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 if purchased before the festival or $35 at the gate, and include 10 wine tastings and a souvenir glass. Proceeds from the festival will go to the conservatory.
