The Columbus Museum of Art will unveil its newly-renovated building on Saturday with a free community celebration. The festivities begin on the Broad Street lawn at 10 a.m. with hot chocolate, roasted chestnuts, music and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Highlights of the day’s events include demonstrations by several artists (including a Japanese candy artist and portrait artist), hands-on activities in the Center for Creativity and live entertainment in the Cardinal Health Auditorium. --Dana Wilson
