Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is visiting Columbus Nov. 17 for The New Albany Community Foundation's "A Remarkable Evening" benefit. Rice is the keynote speaker at the annual dinner, hosted at the home of Abigail and Les Wexner. Each year, A Remarkable Evening has brought known authors, playwrights and historians to present the Jeanne and John G. McCoy Award, which recognizes community service contributions. Rice, who also served as a national security advisor, is currently an author and professor. Along with her appearance at the benefit, Rice will also speak to high school students during her Columbus visit. Tickets for the event cost $1,000 and the reception begins at 6 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Foundation, which aims to develop resources for the community. For more, visit NewAlbanyFoundation.org.
