When they couldn't plan a party during fall semester, the Ohio State chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu decided they would host a fundraiser instead. Tomorrow, the fraternity hosts Sammy's Inaugural Fashion Show at the Ohio Union Archie Griffin Grand Ballroom from 8 to 10:30 p.m. A silent auction featuring gift cards, an array of autographed Ohio State memorabilia and more, will be held from 8 to 9 p.m. with local band The Forties providing bidding entertainment. The runway show kicks off after with casual looks, melding into winter styles and finishing off with formal fashion. Models, representing all OSU sororities and some top athletes, will be wearing apparel from Time & Change Clothiers, National Jean Co., Astor & Black, Homage, J.Spot and more. "We want to throw the best philanthropy event. And also be entertaining," said Daniel David, event coordinator. "But the best part of all is the proceeds got to Alzheimer's research." Benefiting from the evening will be The Judy Fund and The DRIVEN Foundation. Tickets are $10, include a free T-shirt and can be purchased at EventBrite.com.
