The Spring Flea will be back in glorious vintage action on May 6 at its usual spot in the Fireproof Storage building parking lot at 1024 N. High St. For those who haven't been, it's an eclectic market with items from roughly 40 vendors selling items from handmade and vintage jewelry to old-school T-shirts and even current Homage T-shirts (at a discount), plus there's furniture, art and other unique items. Those who've been know it's worth stopping down for that stumble-upon find. Plus, all proceeds from vendor booth fees benefit the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, so support the vendors and you support the Foodbank. A perfect win! The free event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. will also feature a few food vendors as well, so come hungry. Can't wait until Sunday? Check out the first Spring Flea Fling pre-party tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at MADEWELL at Easton. Preview items on sale at Sunday's flea, such as Ron House's Moses Carryout Records, STMP.D handmade jewelry and John Harden's Ghetto Vintage authentic T's from the '70s and '80s. Admission is free, but a portion of proceeds from the night's sales will go to the Foodbank. –Beth Stallings
