In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, we have several ways to support the cause in Columbus:
*Faze Boutique in Upper Arlington and Medical Mutual are teaming up to host a Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch on Sunday, Sept. 30. It begins at 10 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel downtown, and includes a fall fashion show and awards given to advocates of breast cancer research. The brunch is free, but guests must register at MedMutual.com.
*The Sullivan Centre on Olentangy River Road is kicking off the month of October with Bras for a Cause, where they'll accept donations of gently-used bras to give to women in need in the community. Bras can be donated throughout the month, but the opening event begins on Oct. 2 with hors d'oeuvres at 6:30 p.m. And there's a class on performing self breast exams at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 10. RSVP by calling 614-436-8888. For more Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities at The Sullivan Centre, visit SullivanCentre.com.
