What will we find at Saturday's Trunk show?

The trunk show is a collaboration that I did with artist Christa Prati. We have vintage rhinestones with leather pieces. It is something very unique that no one else is doing, and it's one-of-a-kind. They are eco-chic pieces. You will see a lot of sparkle for holidays.

Tell me about the recent national press you've garnered?

People StyleWatch has column where they feature designers who are eco-friendly. I pretty regularly send samples, line sheets and look books. They contacted me to send five or six samples, and they picked a pair of earrings to feature in the December/January issue.

What inspires you?

My biggest inspiration is my Grandmother Honey, who I named my business after. She was a window dresser in NYC and I began (my business) by playing with all her costume jewelry. And I really try to listen first to what the boutiques tell me they are looking for. It is different in every store, based on what the customer wants. I keep that in mind. And I am also trying to stay current with the trends. I really try to do something that no one else is doing. I am inspired by people, and the trends I am seeing. For spring, we will have a lot of color.
