This new worldwide campaign was created to encourage businesses to remove dangerous toxins and chemicals from products. Recently the chemical phthalates was found in some Victoria's Secret products, which inspired the company to make the change. "Limited Brands considers clean water as a critical global issue, and is proud to join Greenpeace in its campaign to eliminate hazardous chemical use," Sam Fried, Executive Vice President for Law, Policy & Governance at Limited Brands, said in a news release. So far, thirteen other companies along with Limited Brands have pledged to the Detox, which hopes to be in full effect by 2020. –Heather Weekley, @heather_weekley
