Meet our Columbus fashion guest blogger Khola Waddy-Jones, a corporate-America-success-story-turned-fashion-blogger who now blogs about clothing from vintage finds to high-end couture at Khola's Kloset and runs an online, upscale consignment store called 24Seven Couture
My fashion journey started when I was a little girl, looking through Vogue and daydreaming. I was sure I wanted to be a model, just so I could wear the beautiful clothes I was seeing. But when I stopped growing in the fifth grade at a statuesque 5'1", I knew I needed to explore another path. So I went on to college in pursuit of a "real" career (as my grandmother referred to any career but a fashion career), though I never stopped thinking about my true love.
After college graduation and years in non-fashion careers, I left corporate America in 2011 and started Kholá's Kloset, my blog about high-end, vintage and all fashion in between. Kholá's Kloset has been the catalyst for many endeavors-features in local and national magazines and websites, my current project as a style ambassador with Harper's Bazaar and my work on the board of directors for CMH Fashion Week.
For me, a love of fashion goes hand in hand with shopping, and in 2012 I founded 24Seven Couture, a high-end online consignment shop. The store features brands such as Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Ferragamo and the like. I love meeting with my uber-stylish clients, editing the best closets in Columbus and helping them find that rare exclusive item through 24Seven's locator service.
My journey has come full circle, and I'm loving every fashionable minute! All About Me Kholá Waddy-Jones
