Meet our Columbus fashion guest blogger Lily Schlosser, who is the studio and fashion manager at Lauryn Byrdy Photographyand who blogs about style at Lucky Star

Hello Columbus! My name is Lily Schlosser and I am originally from Denver, Colorado. I came to Ohio to attend Denison University for my undergraduate education. I graduated in 2010 and moved to Columbus, which is where my fashion journey technically begins.

Before moving here, I had always known that I had an interest in fashion and wardrobe styling, but wasn't quite sure how to get involved in the industry. I had started reading fashion blogs when I studied abroad for a semester in Paris, and I decided that I wanted to start my own blog one day.

I began my fashion blog the summer after I graduated, and it's been a great way to develop my own fashion voice. It's also been fun to see my content change and my style evolve over time. Along with personal style photos that I post, I've recently started doing men's fashion posts. It's great because I get to enlist my boyfriend's modeling skills!

Currently, I work as the studio and fashion manager at Lauryn Byrdy Photography. The best part of my job is that I get to work with people on what they are going to wear for their photo shoots. What I love about Columbus is that it is a creative and energetic city full of friendly people, and I feel so lucky to be part of this community!
