The owner of Rowe shares her four favorite fall trends

Columbus fashion guest blogger Maren Roth is owner of Short North boutiqueRowe.

1. Motorcycle Leather Jacket

I absolutely love that this style of leather jacket has made its way back onto the scene. It's not like leather ever left completely; however, the moto jacket hasn't had much love since the Joan Jett days. What I love about this style is the cool factor. It can make even a chiffon floral maxi dress look impossibly cool. I love mixing dressy and casual pieces, so throwing a leather moto jacket over just about anything instantly does this. Menswear-inspired style is also quite big this season, so another way to wear the moto is pairing it over a boyfriend crewneck sweater with slouchy boyfriend jeans and a baseball cap. To keep a chic, feminine feel, try finishing this look off with a simple pair of heels.

2. Track Pants

Although I've never been exceptionally athletic, I'm really loving the athletic trend happening right now.I can be sporty and chic at the same time, which in my world, translates to comfortable fashion.I love the leather look of these track pants, although they are faux, and I've paired them with a heel to bring a bit of femininity to this look. Still keeping with the idea of comfortable fashion, I paired a slouchy sweater with the pants so the look stays easy and casual, yet sophisticated and pulled together.

Pants: Generation Love, $187 Sweater: Elan, $72 Heels: Dolce Vita, $150

3. Leather Pants

I can't express how BIG this trend is. We saw a lot of coated denim that looks like leather last season, whichwe will still be seeing, butleather pants are finally having their moment.I've been waiting for this since the late '80s!I've paired these leather skinnies with a soft sea foam green blouse.Ilove that pastels are such a huge color trend for fall. They're soethereal and whimsical, and it's nice to see that in the cooler monthswhen we're all yearning for warmer weather. Try throwing a blazer over this look to pull everything together, but keep it casually cool with an ankle bootie.

4. Varsity Jacket

I've completely come around to this trend.I was a little resistant at first, but I've seen so many amazing options that I am now really embracing the varsity jacket! Don't be afraid to mix trendseither-fashion is made for experimenting. Here, I've paired the varsity jacket with another big trend: printed pants. Although an animal print can feel bold, there are a lot of great muted options, and you can keep the rest of the look pretty neutral as well, like I have here. Again, throw on a pair of ankle boots to dress this look up, or even try a pair of leather converse for a more casual look.
