Three ways to style your favorite staple piece

A little black dress (LBD) is a great piece to have in your closet, especially now that the holiday season is upon us! It's one of those items that you can style in tons different ways and will be a go-to when you have no idea what to wear.
The most obvious and fabulous way to style the LBD is to dress it up for a holiday party, like I did for this first look.
You can't go wrong with all black. I picked up this Tribe leather jacket and Lacausa dress on a recent trip to Santa Barbara. I'm also sporting a vintage clutch, Vince Camuto pumps, and a statement necklace from Rowe Boutique.
Now, on to two looks that are a bit more unique. I'm definitely more of a casual person (you can find me in jeans most days), so I really wanted to show some dressed down ways you could wear your favorite LBD.
The next look I imagined being perfect for a holiday destination vacation. It would be great to go shopping in or for a lunch date with your fellow vacationers!
I'm wearing a BDG vest from Urban Outfitters, Shoemint Lane booties Madewell tote, belt from a boutique in Santa Barbara and my grandma's Pendleton hat that she gave me! Such an easy and comfortable outfit.
This final look speaks to the Colorado girl in me.
An easy way to dress down a LBD is to throw a thrifted flannel over it. I'm also wearing a hat from Forever 21, vintage necklace, and Rachel Comey Mars booties. This look could be nice for a cozy holiday cabin getaway in the mountains.
Huge thank you to Lauryn Byrdy Photographyfor taking these photos of me!
