When offered the opportunity to put his talents to work for the Columbus Museum of Art, John Wilson eagerly agreed. He and 17 other interior designers have spent months creating beautiful spaces in an Upper Arlington home for the Decorators' Show House, a biannual fundraiser that benefits the museum. The event has raised more than $3 million for the museum since starting 37 years ago. The public can tour the house, located at 4125 Oxford Dr., from April 30 to May 22. Wilson, of CRI Interiors in the Short North, created the entryway design seen here. He said supporting the museum helps make Columbus a better place to live. "It's important for a city to have a thriving arts scene," he said. "It's our responsibility to secure it for future generations."

Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 at the door. For details, visit ColumbusDecoratorsShowHouse.com.
