Hockey stars of the Columbus Blue Jackets, along with their wives and girlfriends, will once again model the latest fashions alongside pediatric cancer patients for the team's annual style soiree. The Black Tie Blue Jackets Style Show, slated for Feb. 16, 2012 on center ice at Nationwide Arena, includes a cocktail reception, the opportunity to meet players, dinner, a runway show and auctions. The event-known to draw an inspiring tear or two-raises money to fund research and programs for children with cancer and their families. "What's uplifting are the smiling faces of these children and the pride of the parents watching these children come down the runway, feeling so good about themselves in their bald heads and their weak bodies," said Antoinette Mongillo, wife of Blue Jackets General Manager Scott Howson and a board member on the Blue Jackets Foundation. "It is inspiring."

Tickets start at $250 and can be purchased at BlueJacketsFoundation.org.
