Barrio recently rolled out a summery new menu, with lots of yummy new additions. I tried a few yesterday for two-for-one tapas Tuesday (watch for my full review in the Dispatch soon).

The Jicama Salad (top), with crunchy jicama matchsticks, radishes and oranges tossed in a citrusy jalapeno cilantro dressing, was refreshing and very pretty.

Also delicious was the Grilled Mahi Mahi, especially the accompanying roasted potatoes drenched in a spicy garlic wine sauce. Yum.

Many of the most popular dishes from the old menu are still around, like this striking Beef Medallion with chimichurri sauce and smashed purple potatoes
