Full disclosure: I'm a Jeni's fangirl. I always rush out to try the new seasonal flavors, and I was especially pumped to taste Rockmill & Apricots, the new offering made with my beloved locally brewed Rockmill beer.

As I settled in on Saturday, all happy with my trio, I spotted an adorable couple splitting the new seasonal sundae, the Farmer's Market Parfait. And I nearly died of jealousy.

It's huge! It's loaded with fresh berries! It's served in a Mason jar! Swoon.

Anyway, I had to go back to try it, and somehow mustered the willpower to wait a few days. Oh, was it good.

Even on a rainy, dreary Tuesday, the sundae summoned up memories of hot, lazy summer afternoons spent meandering through the outdoor markets. It's got lots of Lemon Blueberry yogurt layered with some gorgeous port wine compote, bunches of fresh berries, a few crisp shortbread cookies and heaps of hand-whipped cream. (At just $6.75, it's a relative bargain.)

But back to that original trio, here's a rundown of a few of the new summer flavors:

Rockmill & Apricots: Fantastic, a natural pairing, but best enjoyed on its own. The subtle Belgian-style Tripel beer and ripe apricot flavors get muffled a bit when matched up against some of the more aggressive summer flavors.

Rhubarb & Lime Cardamom: The familiar favorite lime cardamom yogurt is kicked up a notch with some sweet roasted rhubarb jam.

Lemon & Blueberries: A flavor I remember fondly from last summer, and it holds up well. Crisp and refreshing, with a tart citrusy yogurt base and lots of sweet, juicy blueberries.
