There's a new way to explore one of Columbus' most beautiful, and most walkable, neighborhoods. The German Village Walking Tour, a culinary tour offered by Columbus Food Adventures, is a guided walk through Village's brick-paved streets.
Stops include special tastes at some of the best-known eateries in the Village, like Schmidt's, Katzinger's Delicatessen, Lindey's, Pistacia Vera, G. Michael's and Barcelona, where the tour will wrap up over sangria.
Plus, the tours are led by the awesome Bethia Woolf, who always has lots of insider info, historical tidbits and fun asides to share along the way. The German Village tour should be an especially interesting one, as all of these buildings are centuries old, even if the restaurants are newer.
This new tour brings the total number of Columbus Food Adventures offerings to five: Alt Eats, Short North, taco trucks and desserts round things out.
