A quick roundup of Columbus restaurants that will be open on Thanksgiving Day. This list is not exhuastive (if you know of any additions, email 'em to smann@columbuscrave.com), and we also recommend you call ahead before heading out to eat. Many of these restaurants tend to book up completely well before Thanksgiving.

94th Aero Squadron

5030 Sawyer Rd., East Side



The airport-adjacent restaurant offers a Thanksgiving Grande Buffet from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Betty's Fine Food & Spirits

680 N. High St., Short North



Betty's is open 6 p.m.-midnight, serving its full menu plus a Classic Turkey Dinner with gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberries. A Vegan Turkey Dinner has Tofurkey with mushroom gravy and vegan fixins. And, of course, the famous Pumpkin Love dessert (pictured at top!) is served every single day.

China Dynasty

1689 W. Lane Ave., Upper Arlington



The Chinese restaurant offers a Thanksgiving Day Special Chinese Buffet, complete with a Thanksgiving Turkey Station.


585 S. Front St., Brewery District; 8745 Sancus Blvd., Polaris


The Brewery District location is serving its full menu plus a Thanksgiving Plate with turkey and ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and turkey gravy. The Polaris location will be offering a buffet-style meal.

The Clarmont is open on both Thanksgiving and Christmas, but its Thanksgiving service is legendary. An always-packed house--including many couples and families who return year after year--feasts on turkey dinners with all the trimmings: salad, choice of potato, choice of dressing (usually an oyster dressing and an herb), and whatever vegetable the chef decides to whip up.

G. Michael's

595 S. Third St., German Village



G. Michael's offers Thanksgiving Day service, typically with a limited version of their dinner menu plus a roast turkey special--including a slice of pumpkin pie.

J. Gilbert's

1 E. Campus View Blvd., Worthington



The Worthington steakhouse offers a three-course prix fixe meal for $32.

Jury Room

22 E. Mound St., Downtown



Jury Room is open from 6 p.m.-midnight, serving its full menu plus two special dishes: Pumpkin Pasta and Classic Turkey Dinner with gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and cranberries.

Latitude 41

50 N. Third St., Downtown



Latitude 41 is open every day of the year, inlcuding Thanksgiving, when they'll offer a three-course Thanksgiving Brunch (with Turducken as an entree option!).


169 E. Beck St., German Village



Lindey's has offered holiday buffets in the past, but this year they're doing a smaller a la carte menu with traditional turkey-and-potatoes-type dishes on Thanksgiving Day.

Salvi's Bistro

5000 Upper Metro Pl., Dublin



The comfy Italian spot is open Nov. 24 with its famed Thanksgiving Grand Buffet. Along with roast turkey, cornbread dressing and whole cranberry sauce, there's prime rib, baked ham and the beloved Pasta Salvi, a deep-fried brick of lasagna-like pasta.

Surly Girl Saloon

1126 N. High St., Short North



Surly Girl is open 6 p.m.-midnight with a limited menu and special Thanksgiving features: Butternut Squash Ravioli, Smoked Turkey Dinner with mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans and cornbread stuffing, and pumpkin cupcakes.

Worthington Inn

649 High St., Worthington



The venerable inn draws big crowds for its traditional Thanksgiving buffet, filled with turkey and all the fixings. "It's everything you'd expect to get at grandma's house," said chef Thomas Smith.
