Restaurateurs Randy and Tina Corbin made over classic Columbus haunts Club 185 and Little Palace to massive success. Now they're taking on a Short North landmark-the old Phillip's Coney Island, rebranded as Philco Bar & Diner.

For the modernized diner concept, Rossi executive chef Andrew Smith (who oversees the Philco kitchen as well) created a menu filled with food from his childhood updated in interesting ways.

There's pot roast made with pork shoulder, cast iron-roasted steak and eggs and pulled pork sliders that use johnnycakes as a bun. Philco is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with breakfast served all day, and offers a rotating selection of craft beers on tap. Oh, and there's still a Coney dog on the menu too, using the original restaurant's Coney sauce recipe.
