A restaurant closure you may have missed: according to a post on their Facebook page from September 19, Barrel 44 in Bexley has shut its doors to make room for Bexley City Hall's move to the complex at 2232 E. Main St. The note says they're looking for a new second home, but for now, the Short North location remains open (and a call over there for more information was not immediately returned. We'll update you if we get news.)

It's the third high-profile restaurant to shutter recently: the Short North location of Cleveland-based Sushi Rock closed up Sunday to focus on operations in its home city, according to a statement. And the cozy, well-loved North Campus bistro Sage closed late last week so owner Bill Glover could focus on his role as executive chef of Hilton Columbus Downtown restaurant Gallerie Bar and Bistro, which he helped to open last year.
