Starting Thanksgiving weekend, spending $20 could get you $520 worth of discounts at locally-owned restaurants. The deal is part of a new 52-card deck promotion from restaurant group Dine Originals Columbus, in which each card offers a $10-off deal at a member restaurant, says executive director Katharine Moore.

Some are straight gift cards, like $10 off your meal at DeepWood; others are good for specific nights or events, including $10 off Lobster Night at Rigsby's Kitchen. And because there are only 47 Dine Originals members (including Basi Italia, The Top Steakhouse and Due Amici), the extra five cards in the deck offer discounts to local attractions, including the Wexner Center, Jazz Arts Group and Watershed Distillery. "Some apply to tickets, some to tours," Moore says. "And they have a little more than a year shelf life because there's a lot of eating to do."

Promotional value on each card expires March 2015. One dollar from the sale of each deck will be donated to nonprofit Local Matters. Decks will be available for purchase after Thanksgiving at dineoriginalscolumbus.com.
