Recapping the hottest runway looks from the Columbus Weddings Show last month.

New York Fashion Week 2017 starts on Thursday, so we’re bringing you five days of posts in a fashion week of our very own. Today we’re looking at 12 styles from David’s Bridal. Like one? Give David’s a call at 614-428-4618 (Easton/Morse Road) or 614-798-8906 (Dublin/Sawmill Road) and ask to schedule a fitting.

David’s did a few bridesmaid looks, so let’s start there. The W11173 from the store’s collection is a Y-neck long dress with a natural waist and a bit of pleating for a Grecian vibe.

Also from the David’s Bridal Collection is the WG3830, a ball gown with a tiered organza skirt, a lace appliqué bodice with a sweetheart neckline and a pear and bead waistband. Tuxedo buttons add interest on the back.

The classic ball gown gets an update with this Galina Signature gown No. SWG759. A textured organza skirt is contrasted by a slim lace appliqué bodice with a V-neck and illusion straps.

If the Galina Signature SWG762 isn’t proof that long sleeves are back, we don’t know what is. Its mostly column silhouette gets the tiniest flare just below the hip; appliquéd lace throughout the bodice matches that of the illusion sleeves, back and dramatic tiered chapel train.

Reminiscent of Angelina Jolie’s 2012 Oscars dress—in the absolute best way—is the Galina Signature SWG764. The A-line tulle skirt features a long slit on the left side; combined with the bustier-style illusion lace bodice, you’ve got a look that’s at once sweet and sexy.

On a softer note, the Galina WG3824 has a dreamy romance, thanks to the cascading chiffon ruffles on the skirt and the fitted bodice with a  sweetheart neckline and slim double straps. A look at the back reveals an extra detail: illusion lace.

It doesn’t get more classic than the Jewel WG3838, with its empire waist and full skirt. Ornate beaded lace details along the hemline and bodice make this anything but simple, though. Not pictured: removable cap-sleeve straps that let you change up the look from ceremony to reception.

For a little more oomph, go for the Jewel WG3841. The ball gown features lace appliqués and beading all over, with an additional lace border at the hem. It has a drop waist, sweetheart neckline and a chapel train.

The Melissa Sweet MS251175 is pure vintage romance. Lace cap sleeves, an intricately beaded bodice, a tiered lace-and-tulle fit-and-flare skirt and a sweep train make this look like your grandmother’s gorgeous wedding gown; the illusion keyhole back with tuxedo buttons give it a modern update.

The iconic Oleg Cassini name comes to David’s with the CV745, which features a sweetheart neckline under a thick-strapped illusion layer that’s covered in crystal beads. The layered skirt is made with 50 yards of ballerina-esque tulle.

The trendy trumpet/mermaid silhouette with a tiered skirt—this one made of organza—gets an added visual boost in the Oleg Cassini CWG769 from a bodice embellished with beads, sequins and baroque lace.

Equally suited for the mother of the bride or groom or for a maid of honor, this Nightway 21301D dress stuns with glitter lace and illusion neckline and sleeves. The illusion scalloped boatneck covers the opaque sweetheart true neckline—two gorgeous trends in one.
