Each week, we feature a couple from our latest issue.

Amy Murawski got a little something extra when she was “talked into” a personal training package at LA Fitness in January 2011. She was paired with Steve, and the rest, as they say, is history.

The pair got together after Amy invited Steve to go on a run outside of their personal training sessions, so it seems only fitting that he proposed during a jaunt on the Olentangy Trail in July 2014. Mid-run, he grabbed some pre-placed chalk from the side of the path and wrote on the pavement, “Will you marry me?”

After Amy said yes, the couple headed to Whetstone Park of Roses; there, Steve had laid out a picnic by the fountain. He included yellow roses as part of the ambiance, knowing that Amy wanted yellow to be one of their wedding colors.

On the big day, which featured a rustic, romantic theme, Steve and Amy had a special dance to honor her grandparents, who were celebrating their 60th anniversary the following month. But the most memorable moment, Amy says, was their first look in the beautifully styled alley next to Via Vecchia.
