Each week, we feature a couple from our latest issue.
While everything from the flowers, cake, and décor at Katharine and Tony Irwin’s wedding was beautiful, it was clear that the personal touches made by friends and family was what made their big day one to remember.
Especially worth mentioning was the vintage veil worn by the bride, and by 16 brides before her! It was her great-grandmother’s and is nearly 100 years old—though one could never tell, as it paired effortlessly with the bride’s beautiful gown and timeless look.
Others involved in making the Irwins’ day special were friends, who performed readings at the ceremony, and the bride’s brother, who accompanied her father in walking her down the aisle. Most memorable of all was having the bride’s stepfather officiate the ceremony, says Katharine.
We’d also like to congratulate the couple on their first anniversary, which they celebrated last Sunday. Cheers, Katharine and Tony!
