Each week, we feature a couple from our latest issue.
Though guests at Emily and Michael Webber’s ceremony at the Columbus Museum of Art were surrounded by some of the most famous artwork in the world, all eyes were on the bride and groom. “I have never felt so much love for someone and from all of our friends and family. It was truly unforgettable and perfect,” says Emily.
Michael, an art teacher, and Emily, a photographer, share a mutual love of art, a theme that transcended their wedding day. Take their “picture perfect” proposal, for example: After stopping by Emily’s senior photo studio before they went to dinner one night, Michael suggested that the two get photos “since we looked so cute,” says Emily. “We were taking pictures and then all of a sudden he was on his knee and I was crying.”
The high school sweethearts plan to celebrate their first wedding anniversary, which occurred last Saturday, by taking an art history tour around Europe. Congrats and safe travels, Emily and Michael!
