Celebrating the couples from our most recent issue on their anniversaries
Yesterday marked the first anniversary for two couples, and a third couple will reach the same milestone on Thursday. Join us in congratulating them!
Natalie and Dominic Rosselli’s Sept. 17 wedding at the First Congregational Church of Columbus included a fig tree planting in honor of the couple’s Italian heritage and their late paternal grandfathers. The urban chic reception, at the High Line Car House in the Brewery District, included a Youngstown-style cookie table featuring more than 3,000 cookies baked by family and friends. You can read more about the Rossellis’ nuptials in their Real Wedding Wednesday feature here.
Allisen and Tony Morgan also said “we do” that day at the Kelton House in Downtown Columbus, with a reception following at Lindey’s Restaurant. Highlights of the big day included a caricature artist and a surprise appearance by a Chanel-themed party bus. Want to know how that played out? The Morgans have a Real Wedding Wednesday feature too; find it here.
Later in the week last year, Alina Harastasanu and Lucas Hughes tied the knot at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral on Sept. 21 in a ceremony that featured crowning and Isiah dance traditions. Though classic, Alina stresses that the day was “less formal;” the reception in the cathedral’s banquet hall included a cigar bar for guests to enjoy, as well as a kids’ activity table to keep the little ones occupied.
