Sophisticated trends that work in the city

As the weather cools down and the pace of fall festivities kicks up, fashion conscious Central Ohioans will make an impact. Trendy high boots (in a nod to the '70s) will be paired with short dresses, and ultra-fitted jackets will complement other popular looks.

Women will peep the shoulders, grow the sleeves, tatter the jeans and flow the long, black dress. Men will roll their denim to show off brown oxfords or casual sneakers. Vests, roll-neck sweaters, warm plaids and other cozy designs will eek their way into wardrobes, making us eager to experience the cooler temps that soon will arrive.
