Central Ohio turkey trotters race for glory—and pumpkin pies.

The agony and ecstasy of long-distance running isn't the only reason to lace up your sneakers on Thanksgiving. Many organizers go beyond giving out traditional medals and T-shirts to attract the masses on the busiest running day of the year. Here's what some Central Ohio races will offer to the estimated 25,000 runners expected to cross the finish line on Nov. 23, ranked according to Columbus Monthly's five-point Turkey Trot Scale of Awesomeness (patent pending).
