Each week, we feature a couple from our latest issue.
If you’re drooling over Kate Morgan-Kocher’s gown as much as we were, well, be prepared to have your heart broken: It was custom-created just for her by her cousin, designer Joel Diaz of JOLIBE Atelier New York. (Kate describes it as her “dream wedding gown,” and we have to agree.) Fortunately, Kate’s gown is not the only gorgeous detail of her summer wedding to Tyler Kocher … and the rest are much easier to draw inspiration from.
Kate’s friends helped her out with planning the wedding, and they—together with her mother and Regina Prange of Natural Designs Floral—transformed a Morgan family farm into a stunning wedding venue. The farm, by the way, had additional significance to the couple: It’s where Tyler proposed during a hike on the property.
But for Kate, however, the most memorable aspect of the evening is also a simple one: It was all about the joy of “sharing our special day with our closest family and friends,” she says.
