A scorecard of current and former TV news personalities

We invite them into our living rooms every day for breaking news, local reports and weather updates, but recent staffing changes at the three major TV news teams—WCMH-NBC4, WSYX ABC 6/WTTE Fox 28 and WBNS-10TV—have left some viewers scratching their heads. To help you track the changes, we put together this scorecard of who's switched stations, retired, recently arrived in town or left for new markets or opportunities.

Jeff Booth

The Columbus native returned home in June 2016 to become weekend morning meteorologist at 10TV, while also filling in for chief meteorologist Chris Bradley, who is undergoing cancer treatment.

Ross Caruso

The transplant from WHIZ-TV in Zanesville debuted on-air in October as the new weekend morning meteorologist at 10TV.

Stacia Naquin

Naquin moved from Phoenix to replace Yolanda Harris at ABC 6/Fox 28 in January 2017.

Mark Taylor

Taylor, a weekend anchor at a CBS affiliate in Denver, joined NBC4 in December 2016 as co-anchor of the 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. weekday evening newscasts with Ellie Merritt.

Hattie Hawks

The weekend anchor for NBC4 Today started in July 2016, coming to the Buckeye state from Huntington, West Virginia.

Tara Lane

Lane began as the weekday meteorologist during the 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. time slots at NBC4 in March.

Jackie Orozco

In October, Orozco came from a Fox affiliate in Orlando to become the weekend co-anchor of ABC 6/Fox 28's Good Day Columbus with Maria Durant.

Rachael Penton

ABC 6/Fox 28's weekend meteorologist since October, Penton might win the award for the longest distance traveled for a Central Ohio TV news transplant: She previously worked at a CBS affiliate in Anchorage, Alaska.

Rodney Dunigan

Dunigan moved from Tampa to serve as weekend anchor for ABC 6/Fox 28, replacing Tara Morgan, who was promoted to investigative reporter.

OUT

Kristyn Hartman

After almost five years in Columbus, the 10TV anchor left town in April to join ABC affiliate WCPO-TV in Cincinnati.

Bill Kelly

In October, the ABC 6/Fox 28 weatherman moved to the nation's capital to become the new chief meteorologist for WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C.

Karen Brown

The former Good Day Columbus anchor made her final newscast on ABC 6/Fox 28 in July 2017, taking a work sabbatical to get married and move to Arizona.

Jeff Hogan

The vetern sports and news anchor moves to the NBC affiliate in Raleigh, N.C., after nearly two decades with 10TV.

Yolanda Harris

The Central Ohio native spent more than 20 years reporting and anchoring at ABC 6/Fox 28 before leaving in December 2016 to replace Kristyn Hartman at 10TV.

Pete Scalia

The former Good Day Columbus anchor traded his seat on the ABC 6/Fox 28 program for a spot with the 10TV morning team in April.

Jym Ganahl

The most familiar face in Central Ohio weather forecasting shocked TV viewers by coming out of semi-retirement in October to ?join ABC 6's noon weekday broadcasts after nearly four decades with NBC4.

RETIRED

Cabot Rea

The veteran anchor, a fixture at NBC4 for three decades, signed off for the last time in December 2015, although he hasn't completely abandoned the spotlight in Columbus.
