Each week, we feature a couple from our latest issue.

Wedding themes can vary from couple to couple. Some couples—like the Jovanoviches, featured earlier this month—keep it loose. But for Ali and Kevin, a botanical theme was the thread tying together their entire day.

Nothing could have accentuated this better than their venue: the Wells Barn at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Surrounded by the Conservatory’s lush flora, the Wells Barn also provided a rustic canvas to build upon the nature of the setting. The primary reception décor, as you might be able to guess, was flowers. And for the ceremony, Ali’s bouquet was filled with loose greens accented by peonies, freesia and veronica.

This Sunday, the happy couple will celebrate their first anniversary.
