Mornings and afternoons are when you'll find Hannah Johnson at Gallerie Bar & Bistro. The Olde Towne East resident started her serving career at Bob Evans, but finds serving breakfast and lunch at Gallerie ideal for her and her family. Johnson became a vegetarian in middle school after learning about meat sourcing, but feels good knowing that Gallerie has a relationship with its farm partners. We asked about Johnson's favorite places around town.

Carryout: The Olde Towne Tavern. “I have their number on speed dial. I'll ring them up on the way home and get a Red Masher Grilled Cheese.”

Salad: Ye Asian Bistro. “Usually if you get avocado on your salad, you'll get two little strips. But there, they load it up on the salad for you.”

Vietnamese: Buckeye Pho. “Pho is usually made with a beef broth, but they have a fantastic veggie one with tofu in it. Their stock is the flavor profile that I like.”

Special Occasion: Veritas. “I started going there when they moved Downtown. They switch up their menu constantly. And they make the best martinis, too.”

Dive Bar: A.W.O.L. Bar. “Their patio is the best in Columbus. Behind it is the Barracks, where they have drag shows that turn into dance parties.”
