A look at what the month has in store for brides- and grooms-to-be

July is shaping up to be a busy month! Here are just a few of the upcoming events that you’ll want to mark your calendars for.

First up, Gilded Social is hosting a sample sale through July 15. Head there for discontinued and reordered samples of bridesmaid and other special occasion dresses—like rehearsal dinners, perhaps?—for just $75. (Separates are $50, and Adrianna Papell and flower girl samples are 50 percent off.) No appointment needed, and there’s discounts for group purchases.

Later this month, the shop will host an Amsale Trunk Show. See the latest from the Amsale Bridesmaids collection and receive $10 off your same-day order, July 19-21. Book your appointment here.

Also through July 15 at White of Dublin is an Ivy & Aster Trunk Show. Ivy & Aster bridal gowns are simple and sweet, with flowing fabric, whimsical details, heirloom laces and vintage-inspired finishes. The young bridal line debuted in 2010 and is sure to offer something fabulous for the romantically inclined bride.

And from July 26-Aug. 4, the downtown Dublin boutique is hosting a Sassi Holford “Best Of” Trunk Show. The England-based design house will showcase the very best of the collection, which focuses on gowns that enhance the female shape while emphasizing the bride’s own personality. Call 614-791-2600 to book your appointment for either of White of Dublin’s July trunk shows.

High Line Car House is hosting a free open house from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on July 10 and from 10 a.m. to noon on July 21. No RSVP is required for these self-guided tours of the chic German Village venue, and staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Check out the updated venue space at The Golf Club at Little Turtle during its free open house on July 11 from 6-7:30 p.m. Light bites, bubbly and coffee will be provided as you tour the indoor and outdoor spaces at this Westerville club. Register with Event Brite via the link above.

The Savvy Bride Resale Market returns July 22 at The Boat House at Confluence Park from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Newly wedded brides, as well as some vendors, will have plenty of new and gently used items for you to peruse, covering the gamut from décor, gowns, accessories and more. (Note: Sales are cash-only, so hit the ATM first.) Tickets are $6, or you can get a VIP Early Admission ticket to start shopping 30 minutes early for $12. Purchase tickets here.

Finally, Engaged Couples’ Night Out will take place from 6-8 p.m. on July 26. Hosted by Ruth Sternberg, a professional ceremony designer, and photographer Karen Evans, this event at Haven Collective invites couples to celebrate—and get information—over drinks, food and activities. Tickets are $10 each or $18 for a couple and available here.
