Ray Ray's Hog Pit and Land-Grant Brewing Company are partnering on a monthly supper club. The Hickory + Oak Supper Club will take place on the last Sunday of each month at the Franklinton brewery, 424 W. Town St. The suppers will feature special oak-aged beers from Land-Grant and off-menu items from Ray Ray’s smoker.
Momo Ghar will air on The Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives at 9 p.m. on Jan. 19 and midnight Jan. 20.

The Whitney House has a new culinary team in place following the departure of chef Max Avon, who is now chef de cuisine at Lindey’s. Chef Christopher Caslow and sous chef Gareth Fullerton are now leading the kitchen at the Old Worthington restaurant.
Piada Italian Street Food opened a Grove City location at 4139 Buckeye Parkway earlier this week. It’s the fast-casual chain’s first new Columbus location in five years.
Johnson's Real Ice Cream announced it will open a new location this spring in New Albany at 160 W. Main St. The family-run ice creamery also announced a new distribution partnership with area Giant Eagle stores.
Cleveland’s TownHall restaurant, which touts a GMO-free menu, and another unnamed restaurant are coming to the Short North as part of developer Crawford Hoying’s 800 North High project. A Moxy Hotel by Marriott is slated to anchor the mixed-use building, with TownHall taking up 7,200 square feet on the first floor.
The Carvery remains closed after a plumbing issue forced the Downtown sandwich shop to temporarily close its doors last month.
The Pub Polaris, a British-themed bar at Polaris Fashion Place, closed earlier this month.
Significant changes are underway in theCrosswoods area. Bravo Cucina Italiana closed its doors on Sunday, and Winking Lizard Tavern plans to close Feb. 15 (and open a Reynoldsburg tavern on Feb. 27). Both Crosswoods locations are being demolished to make way for a new extended-stay hotel.
