Columbus-based Bravo Brio Restaurant Group Inc. is being acquired by a Swiss company, GP Investments Ltd., for $100 million in cash, the companies announced today. According to the Columbus Dispatch, the sale will be finalized later this year.

In celebration of International Women's Day today, BrewDog has released Pink IPA, a riff off its signature Punk IPA. BrewDog is selling Pink IPA to those who identify as women for 20 percent (the gender pay gap in the U.S.) less than what men will pay at its Canal Winchester brewpub, DogTap Columbus. For four weeks, the brewery will donate 20 percent of proceeds from the sale of Pink IPA and Punk IPA to charities that support women and fight inequality. Entrepreneurs Kristin and John Ream recently opened Trek Brewing Co. in Newark. The new craft brewery is located at 1486 Granville Road.
Chipotle Mexican Grill has shuttered its burger concept, Tasty Made. The lone location at 732 N. Memorial Drive in Lancaster closed last week. Chipotle opened the fast food spot in October 2016 and hired “Top Chef”alum Richard Blais last year in an attempt to relaunch and reinvigorate the struggling brand.
All People’s Fresh Market is now open at 945 Parsons Ave. A project of Community Development for All People (CD4AP), the market offers fresh produce to South Side residents at no charge, plus health and wellness classes.
A new local craft brewery is coming to Lewis Center this summer. Olentangy River Brewing Co.’s production facility and taproom will be located at 303 Green Meadows Drive S.
