Mix street food with beer and music, and you get one heck of a tasty block party. This Friday, Aug. 26, more than 25 vendors will park it at the Columbus Commons from 4 to 10 p.m. for the first ever Food Truck & Cart Festival. Go for happy hour munchies, for a casual dinner or for late-night snacking. Whenever you decide to swing by, just come hungry and ready to sample the delicious dishes that have been rolling around Columbus streets from Leslie's Crepes, Cheesy Truck, Veggilicious, Spinelli's Deli and more. And to add to the festive atmosphere, stick around for live music, vendor booths, free beer tasting and giveaways. And take comfort in knowing that a percentage of the festival proceeds will benefit the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. Bring a non-perishable food item or two to help fill the CD101 Mobile Truck, too.
