Encore Columbus hosts charitable happy hours
Friday happy hours at Encore Columbus just got a little philanthropic.
The dance club and bar is donating all profit from happy hour food and drink to a local non-profit.
"We know that our Columbus-area charities do amazing work for people in need, and we all want to do what we can to help them during what are still some pretty tight economic times," said Jeff Lauback, managing partner of Encore Columbus, in a release.
"Pay It Forward Fridays" begin tonight, with proceeds going to Komen Columbus, the Columbus affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The local pop punk band the Hot Pink Racers will perform during this inaugural event, which goes from 7 to 9 p.m.
Other "Pay it Forward Fridays" will begin at 5 and go until 8 p.m. Encore management will select varying charities each week. If your charity is interested, contact Encore Columbus.
