The style of the self-described shoes addict

Liz Cook is a self-described "addict" of shoes and handbags andworks in sales in women's shoes atSaks Fifth Avenue.

My given name is Elizabeth Cook. Most of the time I go by Mom or Liz. I am a self-described "addict" of shoes and handbags. Friends say I have a gift for following fashion trends and fitting them to my own personality and comfort.

I started my fashion journey back in 1996 as a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. I began my career here in Columbus with The Limited in the buying offices. This experience gave me the opportunity to keep an eye on fashion trends as they were emerging. Continuing to learn the ins and outs of the fashion industry, I moved to Cleveland as the assistant store manager for Liz Claiborne and later a department manager for Target. I currently work at Saks Fifth Avenue, where I share my gift with women who want to "refresh" their fashion profile.

My style philosophy is that you don't have to spend a million bucks to look like you did, so I teach my clients to get the most bang for their buck, providing them with techniques to mix and match high to low pieces.
