The annual fundraiser supports local families
AJ Studio owners Anthony Stineburg and Michael McGillicuddy
AJ Studio, a local custom woodworking business, is asking the Columbus community to give back in the form of its annual "Christmas Jar" fundraiser.
The tradition, started by partner Anthony Stineburg's family, is based on the novel "Christmas Jars" by Jason F. Wright. The idea is for everyone to donate what they can-and no amount is too small-so that AJ Studio can give back to local families in need.
The goal is $3,500, and you can make your own donation here. Money will go to four familes, including one fromNellie's Catwalk for Kids, two from Nationwide Children's Hospital and one kept secret. Stineburg said they often place the jar on the families' doorsteps, ring the doorbell and run.
