The holidays may be "officially" over, but you've still got places to go and things to do. So do it in style and without breaking the bank. Enter the LBD-it's the perfect piece for all occasions!
Here's how I do it:
My starring LBD, the belted "Jackie O" dress by Black Halo.(Nordstrom, $345)
If I'm headed out with the girls, this dress is the first thing I reach for. But I add a little spice with a fur collar (similar here). I finish off the look with a vintage eel skin clutch, a beaded wood and faux turquoise necklace (wrapped as a bracelet) and heels by BCBG Max Azria.
A girl's gotta eat, but it's cold out there! So I keep warm with a faux fur chubby over my LBD. Slip on my shoe obsession of the moment, Nine West "Kenie" booties(so sexy! AND comfortable!), add some statement chandelier earrings and I'm set. (Note: Don't be afraid to make a monochromatic black statement this season. Uber chic!)
Let's be honest, some workplace parties feel like anything but a party, so I adorn myself with some sparkle before I ever leave the house. I keep it conservative with the dress but add some bling and color in the form of arm candy, ear candy and a fun shoe. Rhinestone earrings and a power cuff coupled with a cobalt blue shoe (a fun but still workplace safe hue) prove you can stand out without looking out of place.
