Can you tell us about your shop, which is well known for its great selection of vintage clothing and accessories?Everything in here is great! I have Victorian up through the 70s. I have an incredible collection. And that includes lots of jewelry, yes?I have the most incredible collection of jewelry you could find anywhere All prices. Prices for everyone-teenagers up to $300 pieces. The jewelry is a big thing with me. How do you know what comes from what era?People ask me how I know how old these items are, and I say because I've lived them! I have all eras. And my prices are good. What's your outerwear collection like?I have great little neat jackets and capes in excellent condition. I have over 200 ladies vintage coats. And for the men, I have the best. I have 60s, I have 70s. I have quite a collection of leather jackets. You also have loads of women's dresses. How many?Hundreds. I don't even know how many And there's no two alike. And all different sizes. You're originally from Columbus, but left and first opened this shop out West in the mid-60s. Would you talk about that? This was back in the wild times I went to California and opened with a friend on Santa Monica Blvd. You then moved the shop to Grandview, then campus, then German Village, then the convention center. What prompted the move here?My son talked me into moving to Delaware. I've been up here 15 years. And I've made quite a name for myself up here I work with designers out of New York. They send their assistants in, and they buy things to take back, and they copy them. How do you get everything?I don't even have to look. It comes to me. I've had people mail things to me. They come in the shop and go home They'll put it (items) in the trunks of their car, and they come from Columbus or Powell or wherever. And if I like it, I'll buy it. But I'm very selective. I'm very on top of fashion today. What's your favorite era? It's hard for me to say, because I combine them all together. See this '40s skirt I have on? This is a new Vera Wang coat I have with it. I combine the old with the new. And I love it all. I did love the 70s. You obviously don't need to work at age 78. What do you love so much about this?I think fashion-- it keeps you young. I'm spoiled... I have so many beautiful clothes in my home that they're seeping into my living room
